Where I Begin
Hi, I’m John — a full-stack engineer who spends most of my days diving into the vast intersection of AI, Web3, and product development. I’m someone who is always building something new, but also constantly asking why it was built that way in the first place.
You see, this space isn't just for publishing thoughts on a schedule or following a content calendar. It’s a place for me to explore, reflect, and share what I think about when no one’s watching. It’s where I think out loud about the things that truly matter to me — ideas that move the needle, technologies that stir curiosity, and the human aspect behind the systems we create.
If you’re still reading, you're probably wondering: "What exactly will I find here?" Here’s a glimpse:
-
AI and Agentic Tools — The tools that are shifting the way we work, build, and think. I’m exploring what’s real and what’s hype in the world of AI, and how agentic tools are empowering creators like never before.
-
Web3 and Blockchain — We’re living through a revolution in decentralized systems, and I’m deep in the weeds of smart contracts, DeFi, and what Web3 can really mean for the future. This is not about the buzz, but about what’s actually working and where it’s headed.
-
Frontend Development and Product Design — Building interfaces that aren’t just functional but feel right. I’ll talk about how design is more than just usability — it’s about crafting experiences that people enjoy using. Because, let’s face it, a good product is one that feels like it was built for you.
-
Code and Architecture — The decisions we make behind the scenes matter. In this space, I’ll share the architectural trade-offs, patterns, and challenges that come up when building things that stand the test of time.
-
Products and Impact — Shipping features is easy, but shipping something people actually want is the real challenge. I'll be diving into what it takes to close the gap between idea and adoption, and why a successful product isn’t just about tech, but understanding the people who use it.
As a builder, I constantly question not just what I’m creating, but why I’m creating it. Every line of code, every design decision, and every product choice is part of a bigger story I’m always trying to understand. Writing about these things helps me clarify my own thinking, and maybe, just maybe, it’ll help you in yours.
If anything I write resonates with you, I’d love for you to join the conversation. If not, that’s okay too — this is my space to think, and I’m glad you stopped by.
